I'm mainly interested in French, Spanish, Chinese, and maybe Japanese. PLEASE don't give me links to download something or watch videos. My bandwidth on my internet is ridiculous, and can hardly go to text-based sites without going over. How do you say "boat builder "and "stay at home mom or home maker" in Chinese Pinyin?

think it's great if my kid could start to learn Chinese at an early age. I really want her to get started on it but I'm not sure what Chinese learning materials I should get for her. She's only 5 yrs.old.

For example Ni xiang xianzai gen wo yi qi qu jiudian chi wufan me = Would you like to eat lunch with me now at the hotel? Could it be phrased "Xianzai zai jiudian ni xiang gen wo yi qi chi wufan ma?" And does the "qu juidian" mean "at the hotel" or do you have to say "zai jiudian" ? What's the difference?

What’s the best book you can suggest for each language? I've read "Japanese: The Easy Way" by Karen Sandness and "Speak E-Z Chinese". If anyone knows these books can you tell me your comments about them?
