please don't make the sentences too hard :) 1. 經驗 2. 胡說 3. 儘管 4. 世界 5. 反复 6. 文明 7. 故鄉 8. 搬運 9. 發生 10. 思想 Please make them REALLY simple because i need to memorize them, haha thanks. Sorry I wouldn't usually let other people make sentences for me, but it's mastery test and it has to be grammatically correct.

How do you pronounce the ‘s’ in the word "four" in Chinese "si"? Is it just a regular S sound like in English? Or is it more like "ts" in "tsunami"? By the way, are there any suggestions about how to prepare for HSK test?

I find it really difficult to differentiate between the second pinyin tone and the third pinyin tone. Can you please help me?

I hope someone can give me any helpful feedback on this. When I make retroflex sounds, i.e. initials ch, r, zh, my teeth tend to clank together (especially my canines). The sounds come out recognizable, however, I imagine this could do damage to my teeth in the long term. I imagine I am doing something wrong? Or perhaps it is common for teeth to clank together when making these sounds?

I plan to take HSK in the future but now my level is too low to take a HSK exam. What can I do?

I know they are used for toasting, and I think the first is Chinese pinyin and the second Cantonese, but what do they mean. I guess "kam" is "good" as an adjective, but, "pai" and "bei"? I am learning Chinese pinyin now. Please give me some good websites to learn Chinese pinyin, Thanks!

Okay here is the deal. I have been taking Chinese class for so far into the school year. (since the beginning of this year) I just got my Chinese coach and am on lesson 7. And i don't have much trouble learning pin yin. But I am stuck, unable to go further until I learn Chinese characters. Any tips of how to learn Chinese characters faster?

So I was born in the US and raised there all my life, which is the reason why I have difficulty reading and writing Chinese. Sometimes I feel ashamed of not knowing how to read or write in Chinese, so I will have to work hard to learn my native language. Although I lack writing and reading skills, I am grateful that my parents spoke to me in Chinese (Cantonese) all my life, allowing me to retain my ability to comprehend and speak with fluency. Any advices?

Where I live in Florida, it’s very hot. It’s sometimes cold, but only during the winter. Throughout the year it is very hot. When it is hot, I like to go to the pool or a water park. I also like to hang out with my friends. I usually wear sunglasses when I go outside. I put sunscreen when I go to the pool. When it is cold, I wear a jacket. It sometimes rains a lot so I take an umbrella with me.
