How do you say these in Chinese pinyin: 1."She is in the bathroom." 2."Are you making the phone call?"

I've been hearing this in a lot of Chinese dramas, movies, music, etc. and I'm not exactly sure what it means or the Chinese pinyin. It sounds to me like "nay ga" but I may just be hearing it wrong.

I have been interested in a few languages over the years, but come across the same problem: I don't know where to begin. Anyone have any ideas?

I was just wondering if pinyin is the mandarin Chinese in the English alphabet without the characters. Does it mean the same thing as the Chinese characters? It is easier for English speaker to learn Chinese?
