Hello. I would like some help in Chinese translation. “The grass is greener on the other end”. Not direct translation, is there any saying that you know?

Pimsleur sometimes uses words/phrases in the audio without listing the words/phrases in their dictionary/lesson guide, it's very annoying. That's the best interpretation I can do-- can someone provide me with tones and correct this daily Chinese expression for me? Thanks!

I just saw a part of a Chinese drama and this girl calls a guy that. I think it's something rude because he called her a pig lady before that so she's being mean back at him.

I'm interested in becoming a translator. I also wish to learn Chinese conversation which will be one language. I'd like to be able to translate, read and speak. I'm also interested in visiting China and want to learn Chinese conversation so I can talk with native Chinese. That’s why I would like to have this information. If ever a native Chinese read this, I would better like your answers. I guess that even if you are a native Chinese it must be quite hard to learn the tongue too. Well, I'm waiting for you answers. Thanks for your answer about how to learn Chinese conversation in advance.

I've been studying Chinese for about two and a half years, and right now my level is still elementary. I can get by with everyday phrases, speak to people in Chinese and understand roughly what they're saying, but it hasn't gotten to the stage yet where I can read a newspaper in Chinese or speak Chinese as fluently as the Chinese do, for example.
For someone who was taught English as their first language, roughly how long does it take to speak Chinese fluently?

I would like to know how to say shut up or be quiet in Chinese.
Please type how to pronounce it too. I have learned Chinese by myself for 3 months and made little progress and I am wondering what the best way to learn Chinese is.
Thanks!

咪咪上了车就不高兴
What does this sentence translate to? I know it's about a cat and something to do with riding in a car, the whole shang le and then the jiu thing makes no sense to me.
咪咪上了车就不高兴 .
There's the sentence, thank you very much in advance!
