I've been learning about past tense on Rosetta Stone, and I noticed that the character "了" sometimes comes right after the verb, and sometimes completely at the end of the sentence. Is there a general rule in Chinese grammar on when to put it with the verb, and when to put it at the end?

I need help in constructing individual sentences with these words. example: 高兴 。 the sentence would be : 我今天特别高兴。 the words are : 1) 喧闹 2 温馨 3）灌输 4）袋击 5）狼狈为奸 6）推荐

I'm going to be a high school -hopefully- history teacher. I am a Spanish native speaker, but have some trouble reading and writing. I was thinking Spanish would be better, but I find it absolutely boring -_- I took some Chinese in high school and am really super interested in learning it in college. The thing with Spanish is that I can get certified or something like bilingual and it would help getting hired since there aren't a lot of jobs for history teachers in my area (inner city).
