I am meeting someone important and my Chinese is not exquisite. How can I simply say, "I look forward to getting to know you."? Just to show them that I appreciate their time and do want to know them better in the future. I do not have time yet to hire a tutor to learn better. I have basic knowledge of Chinese, mostly pinyin, and use nciku quite often or google translator. Yet it seems off to me when it output this: "我期待着结识你更好。" Namely the character "zhuo" seems strange to me. I just do not want to say something wrong of course. I appreciate your time and help!!!

And in Mandarin please n-n I want to celebrate this year the chinese new year and I know how to say shin nian cuai le but not to specify that it's the rabbit year. and I know about the fish, the red envelopes, the dragon dance and the happiness traditions but what else could i do to celebrate? how should I dress and should I do something special like a ritual or redecorate my room or pray or something? please you would help me a lot :B I just want to expand my cultural knowledge and practice new things

My teacher had me skip ahead a semester, but now I'm having a little trouble understanding some of the grammar in the homework. I would like to know some accurate translations of a couple sentences. 1. 每到週末，學校裏只有圖書館沒人，別的地方人都很多。 2. 新生只有小張還沒辦註冊手續，別的人都辦好了。 I'm supposed to convert those sentences into a 除了...以外...都 construction, which I can do if I understand the sentences correctly.
