I need to know how to say "I'm sorry I took you for granted" in Chinese. Me and my boyfriend, who is Taiwanese, speak Japanese as our only common language, but this is one of those rare things that I just can't express to him. I'm beginning to learn Chinese. I was born into a Chinese family so I can speak about 2,000 or so words, but I can only read about 300. I speak English to my family so my Chinese is a bit spotty too. I already have textbooks/learning materials, but are there any books/sources for simple reading that would help me that you would recommend?
