i do not understand what this phrase mean. please translate?

After graduating, i plan to study in America. I chose to study in America because my mom and dad graduate from university there. America has always been my favorite country since i was young because the place is very clean and the weather is nice.There is also no traffic and the people are very friendly. I really like the food also because it taste very delicious. I often go there with my family for holiday in the winter.I also have a house there so if i go there, i already have a place to stay. I want to go to college and then go to university. After graduating university, i want to find a job there.If i can get a job there, i want to stay there and work.

P.S. I want to take summer Chinese program this year. Do you plan to offer some summer Chinese programs?

I can speak Chinese alright, but my mom wants me to take classes to learn how to read and write. I really hate to do that crap. I am also learning Spanish in school and I think Spanish is more important in America than Chinese because many more people can speak Spanish. I will never in this lifetime do both. What do you guys think?

For someone who grew up to the English language. I'm 18 years old, and wondering, for how long it will take at my age to learn Chinese (including common quotations and sayings).

I want to learn chinese as my major. only problem is, my school doesn't offer chinese so i have no experience. If i go into college for chinese, will they start me off from square one?

I've been looking for language courses (Mandarin) around NW11. I'm doing A levels so I cant really afford anything expensive and I can’t seem to find any close by. There's some running at my own college but it clashes with something else that I do so I probably won't be able to attend. I'm also a beginner. I asked my family what is the difference between Chinese and Mandarin. My sister said that Mandarin is the language, and Chinese is nationality, and my other sister said that Mandarin and Chinese are languages.

Hey I am taking classes to learn Mandarin Chinese.....and just last week was my first class....I've found the lessons quite hard to follow because I'm different from a different ethnic background and speak a different language. I also notice that unlike English, where there are ABCs, Chinese is more like symbols.... I am having a hard time of trying to learn Mandarin language....can any of u guys suggest anything that could help me learn Mandarin Chinese...or improve it...?

I've heard that Chinese is one of the most difficult languages in the world to learn. Despite that, I want to learn it. I have no idea where to start, and how to start. Do you know a good program to learn Mandarin Chinese?, i am a beginner, so i know anything about chinese. I've heard of Rosetta Stone, and one that begins with P..., i don't remember the name. I tried Eurotalk, but the software was crappy, really it looks like made by a 4 year old. I am looking for an interactive one, that can help me learn writing, speaking and listening. Right now my first language is English so I thought French would be easier because it is also a Western laguage, but Chinese might be more useful because it has the most speakers and China is the largest country and the fastest growing.

My friend is a half Chinese, and she gives me a letter that have a Chinese symbol and she said that is the meaning of that.

this is for my own personal education im curious as to how close i am to translating this correctly anyone out there who has the time to translate this it is much appreciated. Alright here it is: I went to Seattle for my holiday because I have family and friends that live there as well as a house. I lived in Seattle before I moved to Bei Jing this is why I frequently visit. I stayed in Seattle for three weeks at my old house. During this time I saw many old friends, snowboarded and family members from australia came and visited. My grandmother and grandfather on my mother side came from sydney to share christmas with us. An aunt and uncle also stayed for a few weeks in our house with us. My eldest sister came with her boyfriend on christmas. Both of them already live America. There are mountains to snowboard on within 30 minutes of my house. My favorite part of my holiday was seeing my old friends. Many of them can drive which made it easy to see a lot of them. Christmas and New Years were also fun with my family.
