I can already speak Mandarin Chinese, although it's not perfect. I'm mainly concerned with learning how to write the Chinese characters. Any book I can buy from Barnes and noble or something?

If i send an item hand written in Mandarin Chinese, would it reach the buyer? I sell on eBay, and for the first time ever, someone brought an item from me from china. The problem is that the order details is in Mandarin Chinese so i was wondering if i had written back the address in Mandarin Chinese, would the buyer receive the item... i don't have any printer to print out the writings so i don't really know what to do, but i was thinking of copying the address by rewriting it in Mandarin Chinese, which is something i have never done before. I tried to make contact with the buyer, but he hasn’t been responding to my mails, which means he probably doesn't understand English. I have a Chinese test in two days and I'm finding it really hard to revise.

I am studying Chinese and writing; do ALL Chinese words; ie., ai or ang all have five different meanings depending on the stroke 1,2,3,4, (5) over them. I have of a listing of about 400 words; (Dolch words in Chinese ;) but if each has 5 tone marks HELP It gets harder and harder to learn Chinese. Does anyone have some good ways to learn Chinese?

I've been learning about past tense on Rosetta Stone, and I noticed that the character "了" sometimes comes right after the verb, and sometimes completely at the end of the sentence. Is there a general rule in Chinese grammar on when to put it with the verb, and when to put it at the end?

I can write Chinese character to pin yin by setting the language bar. But my question is, when I type Chinese character by input from pinyin, I want to show both character Chinese AND also the pinyin bellow the character?
